I was contacted by someone who represents the Vitakraft brand to do an honest product review for their lockable cat treats. They sent me a box of salmon and chicken flavor cat treat paste to provide my thoughts and let you know how my cat Finnegan likes them. I agreed, and here we are! This is an honest product review of Lick ’n’ Lap lickable cat treats.

Smooth Jelly Cat Treat
I will be honest, Finnegan has never had a lickable treats before. I have seen them at the grocery store but never really investigated this type of snack. When I cat sit for my neighbor’s kitties when she is out of town, I have given them sticks she left out (a different brand) and her young cats love them!
Using tasty treats like kitty cat stick snacks is also a great way to bond with a cat. The idea for these sticks is also that kittens will trust people and begin to feel comfortable with humans. Especially holding the lickable but having a little more distance is different than crunchy treats where you put them down or the cat needs to come right up to your fingers. I was thinking these would also be great for Feral cats that you might be trying to make friends with.

Finnegan really enjoyed the treats!
He also loved taking them out of my hand; I think he enjoyed the extra attention.

I also gave a few sticks to my neighbor’s cats and they were a real hit!
This brand also makes rabbit treats and dog treats too!
As I have mentioned, I was gifted a few boxes of these for free to provide this review, and this website is an affiliate for Amazon (so Kritter Kommunity will receive a small commission if you purchase using the links in this post).
I love the idea of giving Finn tasty treats that are semi-wet as opposed to dry snacks. I also used a bit of the Lick ’n’ Lap as a topper on his regular food and he really enjoyed that too.
I am putting the exact press release at the bottom of this post for a VERY descriptive summary.
How Many Cat Treats Can You Give Your Cat A Day?
You can give your adult cat up to three Lick ’n’ Lap Vitakraft creamy sticks per day. Kittens or younger cats (under the age of 2 years) limit sticks to two a day.

Summary
All said I think these are a great alternative to cat dry snacks and a very good way to bond with your feline. I appreciate the extra omega-3 which is good for a healthy cat coat.
What is your experience with cat sticks? Is this something you would try?
